Site Superintendent

NOA Design + Construction (NOA) is a fully integrated design and project management firm. We specialize in the design and execution of high-end residential properties in San Francisco and throughout the Bay Area. 

ROLE

We are currently looking for a highly motivated and reliable Site Superintendent with at least 10 years of experience to join our team in San Francisco, CA.

The Site Superintendent will oversee the construction of a new multifamily, ground-up, Type I construction project in Hayes Valley, San Francisco. 

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Organize and direct field construction team, including in-house personnel and subcontractors

  • Develop owner and architect’s confidence

  • Implement site safety program and enforce safety procedures and OSHA standards

  • Review all drawings, specifications and project requirements

  • Prepare and maintain 3 week look-ahead schedule weekly

  • Attend and contribute to weekly OAC meeting

  • Organize, report and plan construction activity and progress

  • Prepare necessary time sheets and daily logs

  • Establish and run subcontractor meetings

  • Maintain a secure, organized and clean job site

  • Forecast and manage foreseen problems and issues

  • Schedule and oversee city inspections, special inspections and consultant observations as required

  • Complete punch list in a timely manner

  • Document final close-out and owner’s acceptance

Qualifications, Skills and Software

  • Extensive field construction experience at a supervisory level

  • Experience in commercial multifamily, type 1 construction

  • Excellent written and oral communication skills

  • Working knowledge of all trades and prior experience as foreman or journeyman in at least one trade

  • OSHA certification

  • MS Office Suite program skills

  • Procore experience a plus

  • Knowledge of finish schedules, drawing sets, and architectural details

  • Extensive knowledge of construction management, construction details and best practices and procedures

  • Excellent time management skills, highly organized and able to efficiently communication with project team, clients and subcontractors.

  • Strong sense of urgency

  • Must be US citizen, Permanent Resident or hold valid work visa

Education/Experience

  • Bachelor's Degree or higher

  • 10+ years of hands on construction experience

Salary and Benefits

  • $125k – $150k, or commensurate with experience
