Project Manager
NOA Design + Construction (NOA) is a fully-integrated design and project management firm and general contractor. We specialize in the design and construction of bespoke and truly unique, high-end residential properties in San Francisco and throughout the Bay Area.
On behalf of Owners, we manage projects from inception to completion. Our services include architecture, interior and furniture design, project and construction management, and move-in coordination. Through the integration of these elements, we deliver bespoke and superior outcomes over the entire trajectory of the project.
ROLE
We are currently looking for a highly motivated and reliable Project Manager with at least 5 years of experience to join our team in San Francisco, CA.
As Project Manager, you are responsible for the design and construction of multiple, high end residential projects. You are proactive, a good team player, love to multitask and work in a fast paced environment. You will work closely with our Senior Project Manager, Project Engineers and other members of the NOA team to see assigned projects to completion. You are enthusiastic about architecture, quality design and about creating, building and making beautiful places. You are eager to assist and learn in all capacities.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Manage projects on behalf of Clients through entitlement process, design development, construction to completion – typically on 2-3 projects simultaneously
Assemble and coordinate teams across all required disciplines and trades; manage agreements and change orders for each consultant, vendor and subcontractor
Build and maintain project budgets & schedules on a weekly basis
Prepare client communication and updates on a weekly basis
Prepare client funding requests on a monthly basis
Manage RFIs, drawing issuance and document distribution
Work with purchasing manager to deliver materials to site in a timely fashion
Work with design team to assure timely distribution of specification and details to the construction team
Work closely with Site Superintendent to monitor/QC job cleanliness and security, particularly as projects near completion
Provide updates on cost, schedule, quality and risks to the Senior Project Manager on a regular basis
Qualifications, Skills and Software
Construction management, architecture, development, real estate finance or project management background
Able to deliver projects on time, on quality and on budget
Knowledgeable in building systems and methodologies, finish schedules, drawing sets, and architectural details
Should be aware of a variety of the field's concepts, best practices, and procedures
Strong problem solving skills
Able to efficiently interface with project team and Clients
Excellent written and oral communication skills
Excellent time management skills
MS Excel proficiency is required
Residential construction experience is required
Procore experience is desired
High-end residential experience is desired
Must be US citizen, Permanent Resident or hold valid work visa
Education/Experience
Bachelor's Degree or higher
5+ years of experience
