Project Engineer

NOA Design + Construction (NOA) is a fully-integrated design and project management firm. We specialize in the design and execution of high-end residential properties in San Francisco and throughout the Bay Area. 

As the single point of contact, we manage each project from inception to completion. Our services include design, interiors, project management, construction, and move-in. Through the integration of these elements we maintain control over the entire trajectory of the project. 


We are currently looking for a highly motivated and reliable Project Engineer with at least 3 years of experience to join our team in San Francisco, CA.

The Project Engineer is responsible for administrative support, document management, and project coordination with our Project Management team and Insurance/Contract Manager.


  • Coordinate bidding process and analysis with Project Managers
  • Prepare agreements and scope of work for clients and subcontractors
  • Assist in drafting cost and budget estimates
  • Manage project setup and project folders
  • Ensure client and subcontractor agreements, change orders and insurance documents are up to date
  • Work with accounting team to ensure all financial documents are up to date
  • Manage RFI, RFI log, communication logs, meeting minutes, and safety logs
  • Manage safety documents and binders on site
  • Assist Project Managers with project close-out, preparation of close out binders, and client move-ins
  • Assist in development of process and procedure documentation
  • Other job-related tasks as required

Qualifications, Skills and Software

  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Strong MS Office Suite program skills (Excellent Excel Skills a must!)
  • Procore experience is strongly recommended
  • Experience in high-end residential is a plus
  • Exceptional organizational and time management skills
  • Strong leadership, critical thinking and able to take initiative
  • Ability to efficiently interface with project team, subcontractors and clients
  • Ability to be flexible and embrace shifting priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Should be aware of a variety of the field's concepts, best practices, and procedures
  • Must be US citizen, Permanent Resident or hold valid work visa


  • Bachelor's Degree or higher
  • 3+ years of experience
